What makes Proper different?

Short ingredient lists, printed in full. Our tallow cream has 5 ingredients. Most of our soaps have 5 to 8, and the Luffa Bar has 15. You never have to guess what's inside.

What is tallow cream?

Tallow is rendered beef fat. Ours is grass-fed and whipped with olive oil and jojoba into a rich balm for dry hands, elbows and heels. It has a light lavender and lemongrass scent from essential oils.

Will the tallow cream melt in the heat?

It can soften in heat, like butter. Keep it out of direct sun, or pop it in the fridge for a few minutes to firm it back up. It works the same either way.

Are your products good for sensitive skin?

Everyone's skin is different, so we don't make that promise. Read the full ingredient list on each product and patch test first if you react to essential oils.

How fast do you ship?

Orders ship from the US. Most arrive within 5 to 10 business days of ordering. Orders over $50 ship free in the US.
